The Adventures Of A Incurable Optimist !
// May 8th, 2009 // No Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog
I watched this special with Michael J. Fox last night and I was taken back by what an impact in had on me. At a time like this in our nation where it is very easy to let our minds slip into some serious stinking thinking this show was an uplifting experience. Here is a man that has a progressive debilitating disease airing a special to lift Americas spirits and help us to see the good in everything we do. The optimist, he showed the optimistic people from our country as well as some overseas. We need more of this type of programming, this is stuff we are all made of if we aren’t led down the path of over looking the good that is out there. Everyday is a wonderful day and we can find good every where if we just look past the stuff that the news media is convinced makes good programming. I was also very impressed with the number of americans that volunteer their time to help fellow man. We are a nation with many people who will lend a hand to a neighbor or give their time to help people in need. I once heard that if we all just did one thing good for mankind per day we could change the whole planet. One good deed per day is not hard we just need to be aware. Have a great day America!

Oh How I Love Summer!
// April 11th, 2009 // No Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog
As we approach the beginning of what we hope to be a very busy summer, I can’t help but get excited. Summer in Montana is never taken for granted, with it being very short in comparison to most places we enjoy every single day. The tough part if there is one is trying to squeeze all of the events and activities into a short period. Concerts, motorcycle rallies, family gatherings, vacations wow it is just a blur and time passes very fast. Montana and especially Red Lodge is a beautiful summer destination, medium temperatures, mountains, water, trees, camping I can’t think a place I would rather be in the summer. As a Montana native I feel very lucky but as I get older I will admit a winter get away is in order. This year we hope to be able to spend some of our winter in a little warmer climate, good for the soul and the bones however I won’t be gone long before I start to hear the call of my great home state and all it has to offer. We hope as you ponder about a destination you would like to travel to that you keep us in mind, we would love to share our little bit of heaven with you and I know it will become a regular stop if you give a try. Enjoy your summer and we hope to see you!
The World Needs Good News!
// April 3rd, 2009 // No Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog
I just feel the need to say something positive! I challenge our media to take a positive stance on our current economic situation. We know things are very tough for many people and it is forcing many changes in peoples lives. I learned this lesson from my son, change is good even though at the time it happens it doesn’t seem that way. We need to remember that everyday is a good day and if we didn’t face some adversity life would be boring. We will recover from this downturn as we always do and just like all of the great technology that we acquired from the tech bubble we will have better ideas from this as well. Hopefully we will finally move to better uses of energy, update our grids for delivery and make the move into the future that we desperately need to be competitive in the World. I maintain that if the media would spend one week on being positive we would see a much quicker recovery. The word of the day is think positive, it makes us more creative!

// March 14th, 2009 // 2 Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog
This motorcycle has been our flagship at Beartooth Kawasaki. We are in the right area for this motorcycle to really stand out as a great way to enjoy both on and off road rid
ing. I have customers who have ridden this bike across the whole USA and Canada touring and exploring. The price range is unbelievable on this motorcycle for a minimum amount of money you can get the maximum amount of riding enjoyment. We have found that many of our Cruiser riders have a KLR 650 in their garage. This is a bike you can jump on and do some serious trail riding after work or spend a weekend in the mountains and when your done feel free to put some highway miles on this bike like maybe 3000 that’s right this bike is also a very comfortable bike for touring. So check out this bike for some summer fun and see our video about our Crazy Deal Of The week on this bike, only $5399.00 to have an experience of a life time.
Stano Bustos Memorial Foundation
// March 12th, 2009 // 2 Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog
The Stano Bustos Memorial Foundation is another shining example of people helping people. In our community we lost one of our greatest citizens. He was a single guy who always put his community first, he loved where he lived and the people who lived in the community. He helped raise the youth even though he didn’t have children of his own. He gave of his time to teach skiing to the kids, always was first on the scene at a benefit or fund raiser. The Stano Bustos Memorial Foundation was established to keep his memory alive and what he stood for. The Foundation raises funds to give back to the community through scholarships for the kids, boys and girls club, funeral expenses for victims, child services, hospital foundation, ski programs and many other community needs. The 2009 Event will take place this July 25th at Bueg’s Riding Arena in Red Lodge, Montana and will feature a premier regional band Billy Waldo and the Flying Grizzlies with opening act to be determined. If your in the area we would love to have you attend. For information go to www.stanobustos.com .
Are we on the rebound?
// March 11th, 2009 // 1 Comment » // Big JimmyK's Blog
It appears we had a great day out of the stock market yesterday, is this the bottom, are we ready to move positive? I hope so we all need some good news from the economy and deserve it. We all must realize there are many good things that will come out of this, for one thing we will learn to rely on each other again, neighbors helping neighbors just like it used to be, being a country boy raised in the old school that will be a welcome site. I run my motorcycle forums with that mission in mind, people helping people and it is awesome to see how many great people there are out there. With a group of 56,000 members we virtually have very few problems. People riding across the USA being able to rely on friends they have met on the forum for help on the road or a place to stay. We are a nation of great people, sometimes we have to dig a little deeper but it is in all of us! If we help one person everyday or offer a kind word or requested advice think how good it makes you feel not to mention the person you have helped. We lead by example in our everyday life and our nation. Have a great day!

Screaming Deals!
// March 10th, 2009 // No Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog
After going over this months rebates with Jake I have come to the conclusion that for those folks who can buy this is going to be a screaming deal month. We have rebates on almost everything we have including many 2009 products. As I mentioned before I have never seen rebates on the Kawasaki Mule but they are here. The bikes are all looking at some heavy rebates as well, that’s a good thing. I am sure all manufacturers are facing inventory problems, meaning there is plenty. That being said for the customer that spells great deals. We have noticed a ton of interest early this year so it looks like we are going to have a great motorcycle season. As gas prices continue to rise it seems the fuel issue is again a good reason to shop for an alternative mode of transportation as in Kawasaki motorcycle, Vulcan cruiser, sport bike or if touring is your bag the Concours 14 is a great choice . We also have a great selection of the Kawasaki Teryx 750’s and Brute Force ATV’s if four wheels is your preference. If your in the market for an awesome Kawasaki product, take advantage of this opportunity to save some big bucks. Everyday low prices coupled with huge factory rebates spells Screaming Deals at Beartooth Kawasaki. Give our buddy Jake a call at 1-800-556-3098 and tell him you seen it here at Big Jimmy K’s.
