The New Year Is Here

// January 2nd, 2010 // No Comments » // Uncategorized

Well we are now into 2010, I feel optimistic about 2010. The economy I think will show much improved signs of recovery, hopefully the wars will subside and folks have learned some valuable lessons from the economic scare. There is always a good side to everything and I believe what we are going through is just that, a realignment. I have seen more people helping people this last year, more so then in a long time and that makes me think very positive. We needed that, I think the early spring and summer will be a great indicator of where we are headed as a country. I see more advances in medical and technology this year as well. So that being said here is to a very happy and prosperous New Year everyone, we can make it that way. Happy New Year

Fall Is Upon Us

// September 29th, 2009 // No Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog

Here we are the end of September and fall is about to over take us this evening. We have had an extended summer with very warm temperatures up to this point however tonight starts the change.  With weather change comes fall hunting season and with that  a busy ATV season for us here at Beartooth Kawasaki. We are as always offering some awesome deals on Kawasaki Teryx , ATV’s and Mule Utility Vehicles. We as many other dealers are hoping for some signs of economic recovery to shorten what could be a long winter. On the bright side it seems things are loosening up a bit and consumers are feeling somewhat more confident, that being said we are set on depleting our inventory for the winter and to you the customer that means we will not be beat on price. We invite you all to give us a call to see what we have up our sleeve on remaining inventory and find out what it is like to get a great deal and excellent customer service. You are number one to us and we look forward to serving you.

Two Great Motorcycle Forums

// August 14th, 2009 // No Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog

I am a very lucky man to be an owner of two great motorcycle forums, www.kawasakimotorcycle.org/forum and www.motorcycleridersforum.com/forum.  kawasakimotorcycle.org has been around since 2003 has grown to 63,000 members world wide, motorcycleridersforum is just a few months old, we just started it to accommodate non manufacturer specific riders. Even thought both forums welcome riders of all manufacturers we decided that being non specific is helpful. These communities are moderated by some of the greatest people you could ask for, they understand that we want a family friendly atmosphere and help keep both forums fun for the members. We ask all members to leave their troubles at the door and just spend some time discussing motorcycle,riding,touring and having a good time. If riding is one of your passions be sure and stop by one of the forums or both and say hi.

If Your Ever In Billings,Montana

// August 10th, 2009 // No Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog

I spent my Sunday this week on a little excursion to Billings, Mt and spent most of the day just looking at new construction and all the changes that have taken place in this city over the past few years. My goal at the end of the day was to find a nice little restaurant to have a quite dinner with my daughter and her boyfriend. To my surprise we drove to downtown Billings and low and behold on Broadway I spot these sidewalk tables in front of this quaint little place called Bin 119, what an experience. This place has a New York  feel with the most amazing interior I have seen in Billings to date. After some research I find that this establishment is owned by a couple of young ladies who are experts in wine and apparently design. This is a quest for them into being the first beer and wine restaurant in Billings and I must say they have pulled it off nicely. My meal was excellent as well as all who were with me, the price was reasonable and the atmosphere was beyond belief, their selection of spirits was that of obvious expertise and our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I felt comfortable and happy to be there and these days I believe that warrants recognition. So next time you visit Billings Montana do yourself a favor and venture downtown to Bin 119 I know you will enjoy it as much as I did.

2009 5TH ANNUAL BEARTOOTH KAWASAKI FORUM REUNION

// July 15th, 2009 // 1 Comment » // Big JimmyK's Blog

We just finished our 5th annual Beartooth Kawasaki Forum Reunion this past weekend and what a great time we had. We have riders from all over the U.S that make the trek each year to spend time and ride with folks they have met on the www.kawasakimotorcycle.org riders forum. This year we had several of the administrators and moderators from the forum make the trip to Red Lodge Montana to participate in the festivities along with several members. This group boosts my faith in humanity these people are the salt of the earth. It does my heart good to see so many so willing to befriend and help other people. All year long the forum members get to know each other, share riding experiences and riding knowledge with each other and truly become life long friends. In this case the internet is simply amazing how it brings these people together. This year on our Beartooth Kawasaki night we had dinner catered by Famous Daves out of Billings then we were lucky enough to have the Munirah Belly Dancers perform to a very appreciative audience, not something you would normally see at a biker rally30407d1247413140-red-lodge-beartooth-kawasaki-forum-rally-2009-july-10-12-100_4343b however this isn’t a typical biker rally. Singer songwriter Dennis Erickson also performed with several original songs that are of a very impressive nature this guy writes first class music. Taking the stage at 8:00 was the BTK Forum Band or the”Houndogs” playing a variety of  Classic Rock, Country, R&B. everyone danced and had a great time , ending the evening was a performance from forum member Scotty Luv with some 80’s rock and then on to the campfire sing along! We are all looking forward to next year and thanks to all who made the trip!

Oh How I Love Summer!

// April 11th, 2009 // No Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog

As we approach the beginning of what we hope to be a very busy summer, I can’t help but get excited. Summer in Montana is never taken for granted, with it being very short in comparison to most places we enjoy every single day. The tough part if there is one is trying to squeeze all of the events and activities into a short period. Concerts, motorcycle rallies, family gatherings, vacations wow it is just a blur and time passes very fast. Montana and especially Red Lodge is a beautiful summer destination, medium temperatures, mountains, water, trees, camping I can’t think a place I would rather be in the summer. As a Montana native I feel very lucky but as I get older I will admit a winter get away is in order. This year we hope to be able to spend some of our winter in a little warmer climate, good for the soul and the bones however I won’t be gone long before I start to hear the call of my great home state and all it has to offer. We hope as you ponder about a destination you would like to travel to that you keep us in mind, we would love to share our little bit of heaven with you and I know it will become a regular stop if you give a try. Enjoy your summer and we hope to see you!

Stano Bustos Memorial Foundation

// March 12th, 2009 // 2 Comments » // Big JimmyK's Blog

Stano Bustos Memorial Concert The Stano Bustos Memorial Foundation is another shining example of people helping people. In our community we lost one of our greatest citizens. He was a single guy who always put his community first, he loved where he lived and the people who lived in the community. He helped raise the youth even though he didn’t have children of his own. He gave of his time to teach skiing to the kids, always was first on the scene at a benefit or fund raiser. The Stano Bustos Memorial Foundation was established to keep his memory alive and what he stood for. The Foundation raises funds to give back to the community through scholarships for the kids, boys and girls club, funeral expenses for victims, child services, hospital foundation, ski programs and many other community needs. The 2009 Event will take place this July 25th at Bueg’s Riding Arena in Red Lodge, Montana and will feature a premier regional band Billy Waldo and the Flying Grizzlies with opening act to be determined. If your in the area we would love to have you attend. For information go to www.stanobustos.com .
